Kim N. Nguyen is an associate in the Business Litigation and Industrial and Consumer Product Liability Practice Groups in the Philadelphia office of Lavin O’Neil Ricci Cedrone & DiSipio.  She has been regional counsel and local counsel for major automotive and clinical laboratory clients in product liability, professional negligence and premises liability cases.

Since graduating from law school in 2003, Ms. Nguyen has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of personal injury matters including mass tort, product liability, premises liability, medical malpractice and consumer fraud.  She has assisted in trials venued in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts and has handled matters in many states all over the country, including Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire. 

Ms. Nguyen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  As a nurse she gained valuable experience in both the health care and pharmaceutical industries.  She earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania.  While earning her Juris Doctor, she served as an American Bar Association Judicial Law Extern to the Honorable Sidney I. Schenkier, Magistrate Judge, Seventh Circuit in Chicago, Illinois.  As a law extern, Ms. Nguyen assisted in legal memorandum opinions and orders relating to varied areas from Social Security Administration to evidentiary rulings.

Personal

In her spare time, Ms. Nguyen can be found with her dog.  She enjoys competitive running and can speak conversational Vietnamese.
